1950s: Bill defines his career in cable television
- 1952: Bill sees television for the first time and devotes his career to introducing it to isolated communities. 1952: Brings Denver TV station's signal to Casper, Wyoming, creating the first cable system to relay a broadcast signal via microwave technology.
- 1955: Moves to Denver to become a broker and operator within the cable industry.
- 1956: Elected second chairman of the National Cable Television Association's prestigious Larry Boggs Award (today's Vanguard Award) for the advancement of the industry throughout the United States.
- 1958: Founds Daniels & Associates.
