Matt Kim provides mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and financial advisory services to clients in the Internet and data infrastructure industries.
Since joining the firm, Matt has advised clients in numerous communications, media and technology sectors, including Internet media/services, data infrastructure, SaaS, managed IT services and cable/broadband.
Before joining RBC Daniels, Matt was an associate in the acquisitions group of AEW Capital, a Boston-based real estate investment firm, which manages capital for many of the nation’s largest pension funds and other major institutional investors.
In that capacity, he analyzed potential investments, performed complex valuation analyses and assisted in negotiations to complete debt and equity investment transactions. He also worked in the asset management group of AEW Capital, where he provided strategic oversight for the management of a significant portfolio of investments.
He received an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economic/business from UCLA.
