Open Range Raises $374 Million
Open Range Communications has raised $107 million in equity from One Equity Partners and Globalstar, Inc. and $267 million in debt financing from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Rural Development Utilities Program. RBC Daniels acted as lead financial advisor to Open Range.

RBC Daniels Advises Hargray Communications and Quadrangle
Hargray Communications Group, a 400-employee private wireline, broadband and wireless telecommunications provider serving southeastern South Carolina and northeastern Georgia, has been acquired by Quadrangle Capital Partners. RBC Daniels represented Quadrangle in the transaction and RBC Capital Markets arranged the equity and debt financing to support the transaction. RBC Daniels subsequently represented Hargray on the sale of its wireless assets to Cricket Communications and the sale of 26 communication tower sites to Global Tower Partners.

RBC Daniels Raises $88 Million for Cable Operator, Gans
RBC Daniels assisted Gans Communications on the placement of $38 million of equity and $50 million of debt. Nautic Partners provided the equity and GE Media & Communications Finanace and National City Bank provided the debt. The funds will be used to upgrade Gans' cable systems in Md., Pa. and Va.


Skyway Towers Secures $30 Million Equity Commitment
RBC Daniels advised Skyway Towers in raising $30 million in equity financing from Tinicum Capital Partners and Permit Capital Private Equity Fund.
