TELEVISION STATION GROUP HOLDINGS, LLC EXPLORING STRATEGIC ALTERNATIVES

St. Louis, Missouri – Television Station Group Holdings, LLC announced today it has engaged Daniels & Associates, L.P. to evaluate strategic alternatives, including the possible sale/merger of the company’s two leading broadcast television stations.

Television Station Group owns WTAJ-TV, serving Johnstown-Altoona, PA (market #97) and WBNG, serving Binghamton, NY (market #154). Both stations are affiliated with the CBS Television Network.

Michael Granados, chief executive officer of Television Station Group, said, “For a potential buyer, this represents a unique opportunity to purchase two dominant CBS-affiliated broadcast television stations. Both stations have consistently ranked number one in terms of audience share and revenue share.” Granados went on to say, “These stations play a key role in the local communities they serve thanks to our exceptional management team and employees at both WTAJ and WBNG.”

Peter Markham of Daniels & Associates said, “We expect to see a lot of interest in these stations.” Markham added, “The decision to explore strategic alternatives at this time was driven by Television Station Group’s private equity investors who purchased these stations in 2000.”
